In this client spotlight, I am thrilled to feature Natalia from Power Up Brand + Design. Natalia has collaborated with FCP several times professionally and twice for her own business. She is a great example of how brands and businesses evolve and how imagery and brand design needs to match. Our first shoot together was early 2022 when her brand was pink and black. It was fun, playful, girly and innocent and while it fit her brand at the time, Power Up Brand + Design was evolving and turning into a design power house. Later that year, we worked together on her rebrand shoot showing off the new vision of the company and Natalia as the founder. Natalia is a spicy Columbian designer with bold vision and a strategic approach. The rebrand shoot was filled with power, edge, red and black. Our First Shoot vs. Rebrand
I asked Natalia to tell me a bit about her first brand shoot with me versus her recent rebrand shoot, “Our first brand shoot together was the second time I had invested in professional photography for my business. After not being able to get what I really needed from other photographers. The results were fantastic and it served us very well for the initial season of our business. Our second shoot together was really an iconic experience. As a creative entrepreneur, it is crucial to find a partner that can bring your creative vision to life, and that is exactly what happened. As our business grows and evolves so did our vision and you came along to elevate our voice through the perfect images, capturing all the spice, energy, and fun.”
Despite the differences between the two shoots, both sessions successfully aligned with Natalia’s business goals. Each shoot provided a wide variety of images that could be utilized across all platforms, ensuring consistency and expanding the reach of her brand. The images captured the spice, energy, and fun that Power Up represents, enabling Natalia to communicate her brand’s message effectively.
What is one place you didn’t realize you would use your photos and now you are so glad you have them?
“I hadn’t used my brand photos in my email marketing before and it has been a revelation. It allows me to carry on the same energy from social to email.”
What was your favorite part about the experience?
“Collaborating. It is like having you be part of our team. You were totally invested in our brand voice and message and brought your expertise to transform that message into images.”
